The Victory Program is over, but there's more to do!
Thank You to all the volunteers who helped to host our North Dakota World War II heroes at the Victory Probram and Dance on 10 October 2015!
Special Thanks to the City of Bismarck, the Bismarck Police Department, Bismarck Parking Authority, Bismarck Parks & Recreation; the World War Memorial Building staff, the exceptional 188th Army Band, and the Patriot Guard which was involved from the first whisper of request to folding the last chair.
A big part of the Victory Celebration is to Identify living WWII veterans in North Dakota (as well as those who entered service in ND and are now residing elsewhere).
1. Locate WWII veterans and obtain contact information, including Name, address, phone, email, and military branch, unit, dates, and location served.
2. Encourage communities to honor WWII veterans at local events and request that local newspapers and other media conduct interviews to capture the stories.
3. Visit with a WWII veteran you know. Help get his or her story in the local newspaper.
REGISTER A WWII VETERAN
You can help monitor the Victory Hotline, register WWII Veterans, Put up Posters, conduct interviews, and contact county newspapers.
VOLUNTEER TO HELP

The ND WWII Victory Celebration Program was short on speaeches and long on entertainment.
The Salvation Army served donuts and coffee. The Red Cross managed the Registration Table.
Each WWII veteran received a button with keepsake ribbon, a flag, and a coin from the Patiort Guard. All WWII veterans were introducted by name.
There are many ND WWII Veterans who were unable to attend the event, but still need to register vor the Victory Roll Call!
